  1. Hi Fay,

I just read your email on how your hairdresser taught you to wash your hair and I’ve always thought your hair looked GREAT (and my hair doesn’t).

So I was wondering who and where your hairdresser is? And if she’s expensive? Because good hairdressers always seem to be (ah, the price of beauty, right?).

    Thanks so much Fay!

  2. Hello Wen,

Honestly my hair doesn’t look that great in the morning… I go to Aris at Kenaris (Wheelock Place) and she always gives me exactly what I want with my hair… I’d say it’s worth it.

I am waiting for my 2nd curling iron (of the same brand) to arrive in a week or two. I will tell you my hair secret then ;)

  3. Hi Fay

I love reading your posts about fitness especially, so I hope you don’t mind me asking more questions.
I’ve been running weekly for the past 4 months and the weight on the scale hasn’t really changed, but my clothes fit better, however, I do need to tone up but my ab muscles are weak. Can you recommend some easy to handle ab workouts?
    Thanks!

  4. Hey Jade,

It sounds like you now have an even amount of fat distribution in your body, that’s good, even though you are not losing any weight.

I hope you are drinking enough water, especially after running to avoid retention. That could be one of the reasons why you have not been losing weight yet.

I’d also suggest a change of your regular workout routine – mix it up with interval and/or weight training. If you want TONED, you are not going to achieve that with running alone. I personally love doing ab workouts with the workout ball. It works for me :)

  5. Hi Fay, thanks for the advice…

I do have a workout ball at home collecting dust. I’d google some workout tips using the workout ball.
Also, do you recommend running the same distance (but with better timing) or longer distance (But slower.. or I’d just collapse. Haha)

Thanks, I really appreciate your tips!

    • Hey Jade!

I’d go for same distance with better timing. Running is better than jogging most definitely. However, limit yourself to running 2-3 days a week and for not more than 60 minutes. Normally, I’d do warm-ups for 10 minutes (jogging/cycling) and then do some weight training and finish off with 20 minutes of running.
