Sanford Porter has worked in professional photography for the better part of several decades. He has practiced the art of fashion and beauty photography in NYC and Los Angeles. In pursuit of mastering his craft, he has done his share of celebrity shoots, catalog fashion for department stores, product, architecture, cars and motorcycles for magazines and commercial advertising. One of his photographs won "Best Fashion Advertising Photograph" by the California Newspaper Association. At one point, he made the decision to move back to his hometown in California, not famous for hosting many Vogue shoots. Most of his assignments are in LA, though he occasionally can be found shooting in any part of the globe.
