Fruits SHOULD be eaten on an EMPTY stomach!
Not after you've had your meal. Not as dessert.
Eating ‘dessert’ in the form of fruits has become a habit in many cultures. Not many people realize, however, that eating fruits after meals cause the food to ferment, which in turn causes bloating, or gas. If you eat two slices of bread, for example, followed by a slice of fruit, it will be difficult for the fruit to go straight through the stomach and into the intestines. The moment the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil. The fruit mixes with other foods and putrefy them, producing gas. Hence you bloat.
All fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.
When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins. Forget about that fried banana fritter or that fruit tart. Who're you trying to kid?!

Did you know that kiwis are better than oranges?

Tiny but MIGHTY! Kiwis are a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is T W I C E that of an orange!
However, they also do cost a little more. What's your favorite fruit? Mine are plums, cherries and honeydew

Quick Tip! The darker and richer the color of the fruit, the more nutrients it contains.
My friends and I went to Sentosa on Sunday to play some American football and check out the new hot spot in Sentosa called Wavehouse. I have to tell you, after trying out the FlowRider, I was so addicted, I went back again just yesterday. This time, I wanted to try out the FlowBarell. I was super stoked and all but when I met some friends there who have actually tried it out and got hurt REAL bad, I was as nervous as a 40 year old virgin.
By real bad I mean they got some major bruises on their limbs. Which is expected, isn't it? There's always a risk to injury in every sport. Just remember one most important rule: Don't be a hero. Take what you handle.
I was game to take on what I had to handle on the Barrel. If I really sucked, I guess could always go back to the FlowRider (which I really didn't want to)...
Unfortunately, the weather wasn't too kind and it rained from 3-6pm. (Maybe it was a sign I wasn't ready?)
Luckily I could save my ticket for another day... and I'm planning to go back there this weekend.
OF course, I couldn't let my day go to waste because of bad weather - I tried out the Luge (at Sentosa) for the second time and it's something I'd like to call a cheap thrill. Sure, it was fun but not THAT exciting. Not as exciting as playing Tap Tap Revenge 3 on my iPhone.

Here are some photos from last Sunday at Wavehouse:

Gotta know how to leaaaaaan, that's the trick.

So awesome.
When you step into Wavehouse, you'll feel this instantaneous energy that will definitely put you in the right mood. Personally I like the place because the food is magnificent, the place is clean, you can shop for bikinis at Billabong, hang out for some drinks, tan, take a dip in the pool, AND most ultimately, they play kick-ass music. Just my kinda thing.
