Breakfast Foods – Fay Hokulani
November 12, 2009
I just had to share with you what I have for breakfast, don’t I? Well this is what I eat during the weekdays…
Scrambled eggs (1 whole egg + 1 egg white)

Quaker oat with wholewheat biscuits and raisins

I have the eggs on alternate days. I’ll share with you what I have on the weekends next week

May Lowe would like to share with you what she has for breakfast…
“My breakfast is an old greek dessert. Its greek yogurt with honey, almonds (nut) and pistachios.”

The yogurt and almonds may sound healthy but is it filling? You need lots of protein in the morning, girl! Try having something else to go along with that. And I sure hope you don’t eat that everyday…
Thanks May!

You are looking hot! I just discovered your blog and it’s on of my must reads now! I really love your tanned skin, I’m not really a fan of the pale porcelain look. But unfortunately I just can’t get brown
Any tips? Do you lather yourself with tanning oil and sit under the sun?
Oh yes, speaking about brekkie, for the past 6 days, I have been eating Weetbix, cornflakes, skim milk and sultanas for breakfast. It keeps me full so I don’t eat lunch. Then I eat a full dinner with 2 apples. Haha, so far so good, I’ve lost 1.5kg.
Your breakfast looks great, but I’m too lazy to cook
Take care love!
Im a huge fan of ur blog. all the way from your myspace blog, to fayhokulani.blogspot and to the current withlovefay.com! Love your your entries! I especially like how u r willing to share your issue with weight publicly, your tips and tricks so on and so forth.
Hey Fay! Loving your blog, thanks for all the health tips and you’re a real inspiration
Claire, you gotta love the skin you’re in! I know a lot of girls who WANT to have fair skin and would never go out in the heat of the sun without plenty of SPF130, including my mum. I get tanned quite easily but I don’t like tan lines so I prefer tanning indoors. I’m sure you’ve heard about how it’s really bad for your skin, but so is basking under the sun for 3 hours. At least this only takes 10 minutes. Saves times, less hassle and you don’t have to be wary of perverts lurking around snapping photos behind the bushes :p However, I’ve only done it twice and I think it’s best to just embrace the skin you’re in and take good care of it with lots of moisturizer and sun protection (to prevent wrinkles). Healthy, glowy skin doesn’t necessarily mean it needs to be tanned.
Watch out for your sugar intake, especially in your cereal! It’s unhealthy to skip meals; and sure you’ve lost some weight but how long are you going to keep at it? It only takes 10 minutes to make and consume the oatmeal! Pop a bowl of water in the microwave (1 minute), mix the oats, biscuits and raisins(2 minutes) and chow it down (approximately 7 minutes)
If you want to be healthy and fit, you can’t be lazy!
Thank you Jessamine and Kerry. You’re the kind of motivation I need to continue writing!
Thanks for your response!I really like how your blog is not just pretty pictures but rather there is educational and meaningful content. Most bloggers blog with pictures and they use broken english. Oh I love your music taste, great dance music hehe!
I am going to try that Oatmeal breakfast of yours soon! I tried Uncle Toby’s Breakfast Oat Porridge a long time ago and I hated it. I didn’t realise you had to put raisins to make it sweet. Did you dilute it with hot milk?
Lol I’m so jealous of you, you’re everything I ever wanted to be! Haha, beautiful, tall and tanned, you’re like the Asian Jessica Alba. I’m definitely tall at 1.68m but lack the physique and tanned skin! Stay beautiful hun!
hi, may i know if you’d recommend fruits for breakfast, since they are in sugar content?
The Greek dessert looks delicious! I do watch what I eat and am constantly looking out for healthy and tasty ideas for food. Is Greek yogurt different from “normal” yogurt?
I like the other meals you prepare for yourself too. Sometimes the only way to eat healthily is to prepare it yourself.
