Busy as a Bee
I apologize for the lack of new articles and delay in replying your emails and comments for I have been swamped. A few subscribers of my newsletter may also be wondering what the hell happened to my weekly emails and I am so happy to hear that you actually miss it and look forward to reading it. The past 3-4 months have been busy for me since I started my first office job as graphic designer.
Sure, it has been both stressful & fun but most ultimately, I realized that I've been struggling to keep up with time and find it much harder to find the motivation to go to the gym after I get off work at 7pm every weekday. I still make it to muay thai on Tuesdays but I rarely make it to the gym on a weekday anymore.
But that doesn't mean I have gotten lazy. It hasn't stopped me from being active on the weekends when I usually catch up on sleep and work off those cream crackers I had been eating at my desk. I've probably gained about 3kg in the past months but I am ready to whip back into shape starting June 1st. Yes, you'll be hearing more from me again! So much has happened in a past 6 months which I wasn't sure if I should share about on my blog but I learned a few things from it which I am willing to spill. From a bad break-up to a recent eating disorder and finding a new sport that turned to be a favorite hobby and meeting someone really special and possibly moving out of Singapore by the end of summer... Well, there's really too many things me and you need to catch up. I'll write again soon. Thank you for being a loyal reader!
How I've been spending my weekends (besides a must-go-to-the-gym on Sundays):
Charles' mom was visiting from California for a few days. I made some hearty sandwiches, brought some snacks & had a picnic @ the Botanical Gardens. It's a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I usually go there at about 430pm when the sun is not too hot... Weather feels perfect everytime.
White wine, orange juice, marshmallows, dino-gummies, Arnotts' biscuits, baby bels, turkey ham sandwich, mini Oreos & Spicy Nacho Doritos... my favorite foods!
Brunch @ Epicurious. I love it there!
Beach volleyball on Saturdays.
Beach fun @ The Shack's closing party.

I am glad that you will be blogging more again.
I must say what makes your site awesome is your honesty. There are not many women who would admit that they let themselves get a little out of shape and put on 3kgs. Sitting at a desk all day working is not good for your figure. My friends and I call it the “corporte chub” and we all have some of it, since we started working. I myself have added 8 pounds.
Your tummy looks pretth flat and sexy. So I am assuming the extra weight has gone to your booty. A little more booty in form fitting skirts and dresses works. Men like the extra “swish” as my male friends say. But jeans are a different matter. You gain an ounce and they let you know, they are evil. I myself have a few jeans that are too tight to wear at the moment. How are your jeans fitting?
I am sure you will drop they weight fast after June 1st. You should do some before and after pictures. It will inspire us all.
Your man is cutie!!!
