At my highest and lowest weight…

Just a personal reminder to myself. It's funny to look back at my old photos and think "Wow, I can't believe I used to look like that and thought it was okay at that time."

This is me at my heaviest (55kg):

And lightest (44kg):

This is me now (52kg):

I'd like to point that I may not look as chubby now as when I was 55kg  even though there's only a 3kg difference because I've been weight training so bear in mind that muscle weighs more than fat. Ideally, I'd like to be 48kg and up my strength and tone up by doing more resistance and weight training. This is my 2nd week in the 'Explode' program. I'm feeling great but my clothes could definitely fit a lot better!

  1. I think you looked great in the Red bikini you wore in Bali. What did you weigh then? Give it a few more weeks and I am sure you will be back in your jeans :)

  2. Hi again. Just some more questions? How old were you at the different weights? You look like you were 17 at your lightest. As you put on weight how did you deal with your shrinking closet, clothes not fitting? Was there any clothing that made you realize that you were putting on weight? That skirt you wore at the cancer benefit looked great. How did you get into it?

    Thanks

  3. hi is it true tt the best BMI for a person is 19? thanks!

  4. Hi fay. You still look awesome whatever your weight is!^^ Just wondering, since you sometimes put on and loose weight, do you ever get stretchmarks?? Is there any other way to get rid of them other than surgery? Thanks in advance!

  5. Could you tell us your height please? For a better gauge on how to look like that at certain weights! Thanks!

  6. At my heaviest, I was 19. My lightest, 22 – a little less than a year ago. I’m 1.65m tall :)

I do have some stretchmarks but it’s very minimal because I ALWAYS moisturize and massage my skin after shower. It makes a difference in the long run!

  7. hi fay, u’ve not replied my qn..is it true tt the best BMI is 19? thanks so much :)

  8. What is this Explode program!! Do blog about it please! Does it have awesome butt workouts too? :)

  9. Delilah:)

Your losing and gaining of weight is obvious on your face. I am wondering if it might be the pose? Because the shot you’ve taken during the breast cancer event (chubby face) was not obvious. You can do it, girl! I seriously salute your determination to get back to where you were. No shortcuts, no surgery, just you, EXPLODE program and the GYM. I also know its not easy to stay at an ideal weight (after you achieve it) as us being humans, we get too complacent. I seriously do not know where to start to get a fabulous body like you. I don’t wanna be muscular but just toned and fit:) I have FAT thighs, flabby arms, disgusting butt, fats under my chin and a whole lot of embarrassment underneath. I hope one day when I have a body like you, (or better) I will mail you and let you know?

Keep the blogging alive, do it FULL-TIME!
You are so perfect in many ways..
    Everyone loves you..
    You are amazing.
Thanks for your honesty and sharing!!

    Love,
    JigglesGirl

  11. Hi JigglesGirl,

Thank you for your feedback and compliments. I do intend to blog full-time and trying my best to blog as much as I can, sharing all the information I have to help and motivate you guys too. I wouldn’t still be blogging if I didn’t have supporters like you! :)

  12. Hi,

You never did answer my questions about your clothes and the Red Bali Bikini? I look forward to hearing more from you on the blog. You are motivating me to get off my butt.

  13. Hi Fay!

Lol, you actually look cute at your heaviest. Chubby cheeks! But you look HAWT at 40kg+! And to me, the mirror is the best indicator, better than the scale. :)

Train hard and all the best with your physique goals!

    Regards,
    Wee Kiat

  16. hey can i know what u do till u lose so much weight which is 44?

  17. Hey Fay,

You’re most likely never to read this but you are such an inspiration to me! I grew up thinking I was really fat just because my siblings were TWIGS but at the age of 18 when I was finally gaining some confidence, I realised I was actually quite skinny and losing so much weight from high school that I became complacent with my weight. I was probably about 45kg at 5 feet. I used to play sport every day and run every 2 days – even gave up my weekends for sports at 7am (to a teen it’s quite an ask haha!)..anyway 3 years down the road at the start of uni doing architecture I thought I could get away with just eating and binging. Like you I was chained to my desk. I’ve put on about 10 kilos and really related to your articles. After all these bouts and failures of wanting to get back into fitness, I’ve finally got the hang of it thanks to you. I’ve been exercising everyday now and even when I can’t, I walk to uni. So just letting you know, thanks so much for putting this blog up. :D
