KL City
Hello, KL! It's been a week since I got here and it's been a ball. Despite all the things friends from Singapore have told me about this city, it's been treating me well. I've learned that while taxis are much cheaper here, some taxi drivers will rip you off and ask for a flat rate if they sense that you aren't a local. Typically, a 20 minute ride will cost you less than S$10 (which is cheap compared to Singapore), and where I'm staying, my cab fare has not exceeded more than RM15. If you're out partying, it's safer to call a Premier taxi and it'll cost you between RM45-60 flat.
Wished I could share with you the photos I've taken recently but I totally forgot about my memory card reader! It looks like you're going to have to wait until after the 19th when I make a short trip back to Singapore. Moving to a new condo next week! Soooo exciting!
RoomService.com.my is the bomb! I've ordered from them twice already. They have RoomService.com.sg too. You're welcome
I had Nando's for the first time and honestly, I don't get the hype built around it. It was good but not THAT great. I'll still take KFC over Nando's anytime.

Haha. I’m from KL, studying in Singapore. Yup, the taxi drivers here are wolves, looking to prey foreigners. And I’ve been to Suasana before. It’s veerrrryyy nice! Beware of the neighbourhood though. It’s down and dirty. Brickfields is the Little India of KL. Anyway, you’ll be near KL Central, where are the trains lead to. So you can travel anywhere from there. Enjoy!

Hey Fay,
Glad to see you’re writing again, a few of us girls in the office were starting to get withdrawal symptoms, tee hee! Happy to hear that the shift is going well so far! We all live in KL so if you need info on the sites and sounds, just holler, we’d be more than happy to help.
Cheers,
Debs

Hey Fay! I don’t know if you remember me, I’m Art’s friend, we met at his graduation two years ago. I see you’ve moved to Suasana Sentral. I’m working at KL Hilton! I definitely reccomend you try the Japanese Restaurant, Iketeru. The Teppanyaki Chef is famous and his meals are fantastic. You would love it. Enjoy your stay!
