Last week, I attended a workshop at ONLYAESTHETICS and received a trial facial treatment using MB (Mario Badescu) products which proved why Hollywood celebrities are RAVING about this skin care line.

I've had a traumatic experience with the first facial I went to in Bali, when the steamer they used for my face over-heated and caused the boiling water to splash near my face! It left a brown spot on my right cheek but is unnoticeable with make-up.

Anyway, I was really glad that the facial I was getting at ONLYAesthetics did not involve any boiling water or steam. The esthetician told me exactly which products from MB that she was going to use and why they are suitable for my skin. After making sure all my make-up was removed, she started off with a facial massage. It was so relaxing that I snoozed right after she applied the mask and dimmed the lights.

At the end of the facial treatment, my skin felt more refreshed, supple and noticeably healthier after the facial and I didn't think I even needed to use any foundation.

This is a combination purifying and calming mask for congested, bumpy or slightly oily skin types. The Kaolin based formula absorbs dirt and oil from pores while the soothing, botanical Balsam Peru ingredient soothes minor redness and irritation.

This refreshing, non foaming gel washes away make-up and surface debris, leaving skin clean and healthy without any residue.  Rejuvenates dull skin with Alpha Hydroxy Acid by breaking down the build up of dead skin cells that cause blackheads and pimples.

★★★☆☆ I love that it is non-foaming because it does not dry the skin. Washing your face with regular facial wash too often may cause your skin to produce more oil and sebum which can lead to breakouts and acne.

This mild, citrus-based Alpha Grapefruit Cleansing Lotion refreshes and exfoliates to leave skin looking healthy.  Soothing Aloe Calms sensitive areas while Seaweed Extract nourishes dull, dry skin.
