Shop Now! YesStyle Store Grand Opening in San Francisco
Updates: For more information on opening hours and how to get there, check out YesStyle.com
My favorite online shopping spot, YesStyle.com, is opening their first physical store in the San Francisco Bay Area this Saturday, September 26th, 2009!
I've modeled for YesStyle.com and have been an avid fan since. I'll always remember the people from YesAsia because they were so warm and friendly when I first visited Hong Kong for the shoot.

Congratulations, guys!
For those of you in the Bay Area, hop on down to Stonestown Galleria and check it out! Since this is a Grand Opening Event, there will be festivities and also some giveaways! The first 10 customers who make a purchase at the store will receive a FREE collectible Momoko Doll valued at US$139. The following 100 customers get a FREE Green Banana Beanie valued at US$20. Of course, the YesStyle Store is mainly about the clothes! Browse their full selection of Asian fashion, try it out, see what you look in & shop away
Stonestown Galleria (Upper Level)
3251 20th Ave
San Francisco, CA 94132

I will not be able to make it there because of all the F1 events and happenings in Singapore, but attending the Grand Opening Event will be Miss Victoria Pham, newly crowned Miss Asian California of the Miss Asian American Pageant 2009. She'll be on hand to greet customers and take photos with guests.

Beat The Jet Bloat
Feeling bloated in a flight?
I wished I could express how much I truly dislike going on a flight... It's probably as much as mosquitos. Hmm, well, mosquitos are much worse but you get the idea.
The reason why I dislike air traveling is JET BLOAT.
Yes, yes, I am sure we all experience this - you suddenly feel like you have so much gas in your stomach and the longer the flight, the worse it gets.
Did you know that most people carry about 400 milliliters of gas in their intestinal area? That's about the volume of a small cantaloupe! The good news is, most of the time, the passing of the "jet bloat gas" is usually odorless as it is due to excessive air.
How do you prevent the buildup of gas in your stomach?
Avoid foods that are known to cause a lot of gas before your flight such as fried foods, beans, bananas, cabbage, brussels sprouts or broccoli and stay away from caffeinated drinks. Drink plenty of water or beverages rich is electrolytes such as tomato or fruit juices.
Personally, a small cup of warm water or tea does the trick for a quick relief. Also remember to eat slowly when you're eating on the plane so you don't swallow too much air. Always remember to keep drinking water to avoid your throat from feeling dry.
One more thing to remember - it is wise to bring a moisturizer as your skin also tend to turn dry. Sucking on candy or chewing on gum will also help you to reduce the pressure in your ears while the plane is ascending.

Finally done with the photoshoot for YesStyle. I am SO in love with the stuff from YesStyle.com now! It's going to be YesStyle & Victoria's Secret on my online shopping bookmark. I will upload some behind-the-scene photos when I get back to Singapore. You will be seeing my photos on YesStyle.com in March and I will keep you updated on it!
